We have some Diary Of The Dead news for those that love slow walkers! We get the following mini synopsis and Sundance schedule thanks to our friends at IESB:
The latest sequel to Romero’s 1968 horror classic “Night of the Living Dead,” finds a group of young film students who run into real-life zombies while filming a horror movie of their own.
If you are in town for the Sundance Film Festival the film is screening as follows:
-Jan 18 at 11:30pm – Library Center Theatre
-Jan 22 at 9:00pm – Tower Theatre, Salt Lake City
-Jan 26 at 11:30pm – Holiday Village Cinema II
-Jan 27 at 10:00am – Holiday Village Cinema I
Romero is a rockstar to those that love horror films. I saw him this past year at the Toronto Comic/Sci-Fi/Horror convention and the dude was swarmed by a mob of fans. He is a man that has settled into a genre that he loves, and legions of fans worldwide seem to validate his decision. For those of you that cannot make it to Sundance, Diary Of The Dead will have a limited release on February 15, 2008.
