It has been a long time since I saw the last Mummy movies, but this new one with Tom Cruise looks beyond interesting. Not only does it seem to offer a new horrific and scary tone, but the action reminded me of something out of Mission Impossible.
Tom Cruise made his way as an action star, so it is not surprising they made this movie look very action filled. I loved how scary and creepy The Mummy looks, but see it for yourself below as Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis and Russell Crowe star in what looks like an awesome Mummy reboot.

All I have to say so far is that Sofia Boutella is a damn near perfect choice for the role of the demonic looking princess. With Tom Cruise in this Mummy reboot we can definitely expect a lot of over the top and hopefully awesome action sequences.
There was also a lot of weird stuff going on that I figure they will wait to explain in the movie over the summer.
Was that Tom Cruise waking up in a body bag scene some type of dream sequence? Or did The Mummy really put him there? There always is a good horror story in digging up ancient tombs, so I hope there is a lot of creepy, scary and fun action that makes this Mummy reboot shine like never before.
