Where is the line drawn? Everything with a logo is getting a movie these days and they can’t overlook the LEGO’s can they? I’m sure there’s a narrative in those blocky toys somewhere, right?

Warner Bros. has given the go-ahead to produce an animated-live action hybrid film based on Legos.
The film will be built (ahem) for a 2014 release.
Warner Bros has hired Oz vfx-toon house Animal Logic for the animation which is said to be 80% “Lego.”
The film has been in development since 2008. Currently, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (both wrote CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS) are penning the script which will they will co-direct with Chris McKay (ROBOT CHICKEN).
There is no line. I don’t think it’ll be a bad movie just based on the concept I just can’t wrap my head around the idea that every pop culture item of the past will be retrofitted into a feature length film within the next 10 yrs. It never stops…
